Position Summary
Mosaic Technologies is currently looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team.
The IT Support Specialist analyzes, evaluates, and troubleshoots technical issues on corporate LAN and customer MSP networks. This position serves as Tier 2 technical support for Mosaic’s internal and external customers, resolving or escalating technical matters to ensure minimal downtime. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring security and optimization of technology systems, adhering to and advising on internal support processes, and working across departments to meet customer needs.

Position Summary
Mosaic Technologies is currently looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team.
The IT Support Specialist analyzes, evaluates, and troubleshoots technical issues on corporate LAN and customer MSP networks. This position serves as Tier 2 technical support for Mosaic’s internal and external customers, resolving or escalating technical matters to ensure minimal downtime. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring security and optimization of technology systems, adhering to and advising on internal support processes, and working across departments to meet customer needs.
Essential Functions (including But Not Limited To)
- Configures, installs, secures, and maintains Microsoft platform hardware and software solutions along with ethernet, router, switches, network analysis, firewall, capacity planning, and remote management services.
- Develops, configures, installs, supports and maintains customer systems, applications, security, networks, and network configurations (hardware and software).
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains data and disaster recovery plans.
- Analyzes technology systems and provides solutions for new or upgrading existing hardware or software.
- Provides technical support and guidance to customers and internal team members as directed.
- Maintains accountability for adherence to IT help desk service level agreements.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.
- Proficient in computer science principles and practices.
- Proficient in LAN/WAN technology, software, and hardware.
- Proficient in current technology security best practices
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments while paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to evaluate, test, and repair sophisticated physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions using information at hand.
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and information.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or five years of related field experience required.
- Industry certifications such as A+ or Cisco Certification a plus.
- Must possess and maintain and valid driver's license.
- This position is located at our Eau Claire, WI office.
- The core schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 with overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
- Participates in an on-call rotation.
