  • Phone/Radio Use: Answer gatehouse calls promptly, relay information to dispatch/supervisors, and respond to 10-4 checks.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and gate access records.
  • Post Coverage: Ensure the gatehouse is never left unattended.

Rover/Patrol Duties

  • Mobile Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of community streets, amenities, and perimeter areas using marked patrol vehicles.

  • Security Monitoring: Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, or breaches; respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Resident Support: Professionally engage with residents and guests; provide directions, assistance, or rule enforcement as needed.
  • Incident Response: Respond to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, or incidents; follow escalation protocols and notify dispatch.

  • Reporting: Submit accurate and complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and time-stamped photos as required.
  • Professionalism: Uphold Tact Tech’s standards in uniform appearance, conduct, and interaction with the public.

  • Skills: Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Technology: Basic computer and smartphone skills for ABDI, TrackTik, and report writing.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; able to operate a patrol vehicle safely.
