Job Summary
REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and motivated Material & Demand Planner to join our dynamic and growing Building Solutions team. This position will focus primarily on managing material requirements and inventory performance while supporting demand planning activities. The role will utilize SAP MRP and forecasting tools to ensure optimal material availability, align supply with business needs, and contribute to demand management processes that strengthen overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned product groups in SAP MRP to ensure materials are available to meet production and customer demand.
- Develop and maintain material replenishment models and purchasing plans to balance service levels with working capital targets.
- Monitor supplier performance, coordinate deliveries, and serve as the first escalation point for resolving supply issues.
- Analyze historical sales, inventory trends, and market data to refine forecasts and support demand management activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Customer Support, and Production teams to align material planning with business needs.
- Provide input into S&OP processes, ensuring supply alignment with forecasted demand.
- Track and report on KPIs related to material availability, forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service levels.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on special projects, order prioritization, and supply chain initiatives.
- Continuously improve replenishment and forecasting processes through data-driven analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or demand planning (manufacturing or consumer goods industries preferred).
- Strong experience with SAP MRP and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and forecasting tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with S&OP processes and integrated supply chain planning.
- Ability to balance material availability, service levels, and working capital.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading supplier and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics (manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred), and forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner across functions.
- Experience with statistical forecasting methods, CRM, and data visualization tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with S&OP processes and integrated supply chain planning.
- Proven ability to balance customer service levels with cost and inventory efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and providing guidance to stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay $78,000-$96,000 annual gross salary
- Annul Bonus based on performance and KPI’s
