DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment
- Understand, implement and support completion of the daily plan
- Assist or lead pre-shift meetings
- Assign and delegate work as required to complete job assignments
- Provide necessary PPE, equipment and tools to complete work
- Conduct employee performance reviews and follow up on progress
- Act as backup to the Operations Manager during their absence
- Collect and communicate performance data
- Investigate and sign off on exceptions to the picking process
- Control work documents
- Authorize time cards
- Generate shift reports
- Recognize excellence
- Perform process walks
- Schedule put away material for returns
- Check special requirements loads when required
- Verify picking accuracy of all material handlers
- Other duties assigned by the Operations / Site Manager
