Job Description
The Associate Manager, Cause Marketing, is responsible for managing the strategic execution of communications and data management in support of International Dairy Queen, Inc.’s cause marketing mission related to its national partnership with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. This individual also assumes a leadership role, developing materials for presentations to key audiences such as the CMN Committee, CMN Ambassadors, Operations, Franchisees, and other identified audiences.
This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing Communications and frequently interacts with Dairy Queen’s Leadership Team, Marketing Communications Team, CMN Committee, CMN Ambassadors, IT, and franchisees.

**Work Environment**
Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week. Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs. Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.

- _Primary Accountabilities_**
- _Cause Marketing Program Management and Performance_**
- Leads execution of Dip It For Kids, Miracle Treat Day, Miracle Balloons, and Round Up for Kids with a focus on growing total fundraising and executing follow-up donation communications and remittance process management.
- Collaborate with creative services to develop effective marketing materials to promote franchisee and fan engagements with cause initiatives.
- Leads and supports franchisee facing groups aimed at growing CMNH fundraising including CMN Committee and Ambassador Groups including preparing materials for quarterly meetings.
- Drives selection and execution of annual awards for top performing franchisees with fundraising
- Modifies and maintains updated processes and best practices – continually looks for solutions
- _Data Analytics & Reporting _**
- Manages, maintains, and organizes sensitive data related to cause marketing efforts.
- Designs and produces reports as needed to update leadership & charitable partners.
- Leads effort to continually refine data management processes, tools and procedures.
- Develops and shares reporting results for engagement on CMNH initiatives to a variety of stakeholders.
- Manages day to day data entry as needed ensuring accuracy.
- Maintains and updates all applicable records and contracts.
- Ensures the accurate tracking of donations at a store-by-store level to ensure the funds are funneled back to the proper CMN hospital.
- _Content Development_**
- Develops and maintains content presented across a variety of channels to achieve business goals as well as ensures accuracy for a positive fan experience.
- Produces a wide array of materials and resources for both internal and external audiences which include but are not limited to tip sheets, guides, PowerPoint presentations, and toolkit resources.
- Develops and delivers presentations to internal and external audiences on a regular basis.
- _Strategic Planning and Campaign Advancement_**
- Leads the development of CMN annual goals and progress tracking. Includes actively seeking ways to grow fundraising when programs are off track.
- Leads the development of annual CMNH plan and calendar of programs alongside CMN team.
- Collaborates with franchisees to build on and share best practices.
- _Other Duties as Needed_**
- Support events with internal and external partners which includes Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Week and DQ CONNECT
- Visits stores on key dates of campaigns – including interfacing with Fans, Crew Members and owner operators.
- May travel 1 – 4 times per year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 2 – 5 years of previous hands-on marketing and database experience within a corporate marketing environment with a strong focus on customer service required.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Above average communicator both verbal and written with excellent organizational skills.
- Highly effective collaborator with multiple levels in an organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to take direction from multiple individuals.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven environment.
- Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and independently, in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to travel; less than 10% travel required
