Nature Of Work
As Equipment Manager for the Denver Summit FC, you are responsible for daily equipment/gear set-up and breakdown of training, game, and locker room for both home and away. You will participate in the purchasing, storing, repair, and replacement of all team equipment as well as transportation and inventory.

As Equipment Manager for the Denver Summit FC, you are responsible for daily equipment/gear set-up and breakdown of training, game, and locker room for both home and away. You will participate in the purchasing, storing, repair, and replacement of all team equipment as well as transportation and inventory.
Examples Of Work Performed
General / Operations:
- Daily preparation and assistance in the execution of team training sessions
- Ordering, distributing, maintaining, packing, and inventorying gear and equipment needed by the players and technical staff to execute training sessions, matches, road trips, and sponsorship/ media obligations
- Distribution of training gear into lockers before player arrival or after player departure
- Laundering game uniforms and training gear
- Daily maintenance of soccer balls to check for pressure and quality
- Assistance with field set-up and maintenance
- Organization and cleaning of equipment and locker rooms
- Transportation of gear from the locker room to the field
- Assist Team Administrator with pressing team and all-staff training gear and uniforms
- Assist Team Administrator with Nike apparel and equipment inventory
- Ability to reasonably anticipate and fulfill the soccer-related player and technical staff needs and proactively address problems
- Communicate with Team Administrator about various soccer-related needs
- Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships department for sponsor approvals, vinyl orders, and pressing for all sponsor needs/activations.
- Preparation of home and away team locker rooms for home matches
- Warm-up setup and execution
- Maintain field bag and blood kit
- Work closely with players and coaches to help fulfill all soccer-related needs
- Pack all uniform and team equipment needed for away games and training sessions
- Coordinate with the Athletic Trainer to ensure all medical travel bags and equipment needs are met
- Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of all team bags to and from the home stadium/airport/hotel and away stadium
- Set up meeting rooms, training grounds, and locker rooms for coaches and teams during away visits
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Typical Office Conditions in addition to the below
- Lift 50 lbs. daily
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to work in a moderate to very loud environment
- Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e. heat, rain, cold, snow, wind)
Minimum
- High School or GED
- Experience with inventory management
- Experience with managing equipment for sports team
- Ability to travel, night and weekend/holiday work.
- Ability to work all home games.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Experience in professional soccer environment
- Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
- Completes work accurately and on time, demonstrating strong time management and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently & within a team, communicating clearly in writing and verbally.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team’s schedule
- Ability to travel extensively
- Flexible, reliable, and hands-on — willing to pitch in wherever needed in a start-up team environment.
- Possesses a strong passion and understanding of soccer, with a commitment to advancing the professionalization of women’s sports.
- Ability to pass NWSL background check
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Base salary range $60,000-$80,000 per annum
