POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales of Regal Wine Company’s complete portfolio of wines within California, to establish new business with independent, regional and national accounts – can include on premise and/or off premise accounts. This position includes phone sales and meeting with accounts in person.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The base pay for this role ranges from $23.19 – $33.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
In addition to the salary, Sales Activation Representatives are eligible for a discretionary bonus, and other sales incentives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve monthly sales goals through key performance indicators
- Prospect and open new on and off premise accounts via phone calls and in-person cold calls
- Meet in person with and maintain positive business relations with top customers across the state
- Contact all accounts on territory run on a regular cadence but at a minimum monthly
- Communicate internally with RWC sales team and executives
- Maintain detailed account information on account profile cards and computer system
- Prepare “New Account” packages
- Organize and prepare quarterly point of sale information for accounts including mailing to existing and prospective accounts
- Maintain Aged Trial balance report as current
- Understand and articulate Regal pricing and discount structure to customers
- Provide brand education to customers
- Understand and comply with ABC regulations
- Responsible for maintaining current education on Regal portfolio
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales or customer service position
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel to include; report formatting, sorting and export
- Ability to work with Outlook; calendar, meetings and email blast capable
- Available to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends for special events
- Ability to travel within territory frequently to visit and service accounts; for a minimum of 30% of the time (at least 2 days per week)
- Ability to travel within California up to 6x per year, out of the territory for meetings, education and training
- Able to repetitively lift a minimum of 50 lbs; be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and lift repetitively
- Must possess a current driver’s license; maintain current auto insurance and a clean driving record
The base pay for this role ranges from $23.19 – $33.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
