This is a technical and administrative position that independently performs decisions and tasks required in the processing of documentation and information necessary for fluency and accuracy for the Maintenance Operations and Fleet Management financial business unit. The position performs a variety of administrative functions including the processing and reimbursement of accidents, creation and maintenance of boiler permits, underground storage tank permits, surplus of equipment and equipment recalls. This position will assist in the creation and maintenance of contracts within Maintenance Operations and Fleet Management (MOFM), which includes but is not limited to purchase orders, invoicing and purchase card reconciliation. This position will serve as a backup to the Program Coordinator III to ensure all processes are maintained and followed by all staff assigned to this area. Other duties as assigned.

Management prefers applicants with the following

  • Demonstrated ability to compile, assimilate and organize complex documentation in both printed and electronic format
  • Considerable knowledge of governmental accounting methods and procedures/financial practices
  • Experience working with contracts, accounts payable, invoice deadlines, and time sensitive documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data to review, process, and correct accounting entries and make adjustments in the accounting system and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP, and Ariba

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
