This course is a study of the challenges associated with managing projects within the context of the overarching management framework of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Emphasis is placed on balancing competing priorities related to human resources, time constraints, and physical resources/materials, as well as managing and controlling project scope.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Preferred: PhD/DBA Management or Doctorate in a related business discipline AND
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required if Doctorate is not in a business discipline. Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) AND
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification AND
- minimum of five years of project management experience.
- Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
