An Assistant Director of F&B takes part in servicing our guests around our beautiful Hotel and you'll be part of a great team of helpful people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction.

As the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the diverse and dynamic food and beverage operations of our hotel. With multiple venues ranging from the hotel’s coffee shop to dining, your leadership will ensure exceptional experiences across all outlets. Collaborating closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, you will drive strategic initiatives, keep high service standards, and improve financial performance.

  • This position will primarily involve evening shifts to manage the hotel’s operations during peak hours.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the hotel's operational needs.
  • Occasional travel between hotel locations may be necessary.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior food and beverage management role within a luxury hotel or hotel environment.
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple dining venues, including both casual and fine dining establishments.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Skills And Abilities

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and service, wines and preparation techniques. Excellent mathematical abilities to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other hotel financial statements. Ability to work entire shift standing and moving about in restaurants and kitchen area. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to push/and pull carts of products weighing up to 150 pounds.
