Posistion Summary

This robust administrative role serves as an introductory position to the Regulatory team. The Regulatory Coordinator provides administrative support to the regulatory department as a whole with a strong focus on regulatory affairs functions. Key functions include deadline management, software management, document and process management. This position is a cross-functional role providing opportunity to work in different jurisdictions and with a variety of internal business partners.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Coordinator. This hybrid role will be based in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain all regulatory files.
  • Create templates and develop processes in collaboration with regulatory supervisors, directors, and the VP of Regulatory Affairs.
  • Track deadlines and manage the department calendar for key dates and events.
  • Read and interpret rules, regulations, and statutes across jurisdictions.
  • Review the company’s filing formats and rules of practice to meet procedural schedules and internal deadlines.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and file documents or materials for regulatory or litigation proceedings as directed.
  • Prepare and submit application packages; administer the discovery process in assigned cases.
  • Monitor and record rule changes and regulatory commitments across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance.
  • Assist with compilation and distribution of weekly synopses' of regulatory filings and industry developments involving the company, competitors, peers, and the broader public utility and energy sector.
  • Learn and operate proprietary software systems used for managing discovery.
  • Provide back-up support to the Regulatory Specialist during absences.

Education And Work Experience

  • Five or more years of experience in regulatory affairs, legal case management, office administration, or executive-level administrative experience. Preference given to candidates with utility gas industry or legal case management backgrounds.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficient experience in Adobe and MS Office products, specifically Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced-level document management and production skills (large volume project management/ regulatory filings).
  • Great attention to detail, self-starter, organized.
  • Willingness to learn and design/create processes for efficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Highly effective communication and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities.
  • Professional writing and organizational skills.
