The City of Lincoln Council are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide a dedicated personal assistant service to the Council's senior officers. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Councils senior leadership. You will be responsible for managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing documents and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident at managing multiple competing priorities. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities and a high level of professionalism are essential for this role.
This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week. Specific working days and hours are flexible and can be negotiated to suit both the successful candidate and service needs.

Key responsibilities
- Managing complex diaries, meetings and correspondence for senior leaders.
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, including MPs and elected members.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Supporting directorate projects and private sector boards.
- Coordinating complaints, monitoring responses and identifying service improvements.
- Producing agendas, minutes and action plans for key meetings.
- Proven experience supporting senior management in a busy office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience in project support, minute-taking and stakeholder engagement.
- Confidence in handling sensitive issues and working with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach with a commitment to customer care.
- 4 GCSEs (A-C) including English and Maths or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent PA qualification.
