Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and execution-oriented individual to join our team as SVP of Finance. As the leader of the accounting and finance team, the SVP Finance will report directly to the CEO and will oversee the accounting team, which includes a Controller, Accounting Supervisor, and multiple accountants. The SVP Finance is responsible for the overseeing day-to-day finance operations, driving the company’s financial strategy and guiding business decisions. The SVP Finance will partner with leadership to implement scalable systems, processes, and controls that support a high-growth, M&A-focused business. This role requires both strategic leadership and a hands-on approach. The individual will be technically strong, action-oriented, and have excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Improve Finance Processes
- Design and implement scalable accounting processes that ensure accuracy while supporting the organization’s growth.
- Automate manual processes (commissions, payroll, inventory, etc.) to increase efficiency.
- Standardize M&A integration playbooks, checklists, and onboarding documentation to ensure smooth transitions.
- Financial Reporting & Controls
- Drive process improvements to reduce month-end close timeline.
- Oversee cash reconciliations to strengthen controls, audit readiness, and reporting integrity.
- FP&A Foundations
- Partner with executive leadership to provide streamlined reporting and analysis.
- Leverage NetSuite to streamline reporting
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth within the department.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support various departments on financial matters and operational initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with experience at both a public accounting firm and a private company finance leadership role (controller or senior/equivalent)
- CPA
- Proficient in accounting software (NetSuite experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
- Experience in integrating acquisitions and establishing financial controls in new entities.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, creativity, decisiveness, and ability to work hard and well under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational maturity, and ability to develop trusted relationships.
- Proven ability in managing multiple workstreams and projects.
- Compensation offered between $225,000 - $275,000 across salary and bonus. Plus meaningful equity upside.
