This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. - Orchestrate our innovative 2-Hour Learning block, where you'll guide students to master tech-powered learning tools while crushing their personal goals
- Partner with Reading Specialists to reinforce literacy foundations through engaging, personalized approaches
- Build emotional intelligence and resilience through thoughtful coaching and peer collaboration
- Act as a learning detective - tracking progress, spotting challenges early, and adapting strategies with your team
- Create a classroom atmosphere that feels like the perfect blend of summer camp excitement and academic excellence
Let's be clear - this isn't your traditional teaching role. You won't be:
- Standing at a whiteboard delivering endless lectures
- Taking on primary literacy instruction or curriculum design
- Drowning in paperwork and lesson planning
- Working in an outdated, tech-free environment
- Using one-size-fits-all behavior management techniques

Basic Requirements
The basics you'll need to bring:
- Availability for full-time, in-person work at our Orange County or San Francisco campus
- Bachelor's degree (any field - we value diverse perspectives!)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with 4-8 year olds in educational or similar settings
- Proven track record of engaging young minds with both structure and enthusiasm
- An insatiable appetite for growth and feedback
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
Bonus points for:
- Early childhood education credentials (CDA, Montessori, Reggio Emilia)
- Experience in reading instruction or collaboration with literacy experts
- Knowledge of adaptive learning technologies and personalized education platforms
