Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with implementing and progressing treatment programs.
- Guide patients through exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and efficiently.
- Educate and encourage patients to stay engaged in their recovery.
- Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
- Ideal candidate is trained in lymphedema and womens health.
- An active, Physical Therapy Assistant license issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire.
