Human Resources Generalist - Dublin, CA
Job Summary
The HR Generalist ensures that team members throughout the company are treated fairly, consistently and in balance with the needs of the company, and that policies and practices consistently meet all legal requirements. The position partners with HRBP’s to support Corporate, Store Management and union/non-union team members by providing instruction and guidelines for effective and continuous application of workplace policies and procedures. Generalists proactively collaborate with all functional areas of the HR organization: Training and Development, HRIS, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits and Leaves, Labor Relations resulting in extraordinary full cycle talent management.

Hiring pay range: $27.80 - 33.65
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
Experience : 2 Years related Human Resources experience
Other : 25% travel
Work Environment : Office and grocery store

Responsibilities
- Participates in developing and implementing the HR strategy, plans and budget.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to execute recruiting strategies and programs to ensure the identification of candidates for all job levels. Supports Retail and Corporate to meet hiring goals.
- Provide support for performance management, career development and succession planning. Working with the HRBPs and customer groups to identify successors for each level within the customer group. Assist HRBPs to monitor the training and development activities to create and maintain bench strength. Assist in the design and implementation of career pathing strategies within the customer group.
- Consult with HRBPs and legal department on team member concerns and complaints to ensure a prompt response, consistency and compliance to applicable internal Save Mart and external employment laws, government regulations, policies and procedures. Conduct investigations for employment related claims.
- Assist the HRBPs & Labor Relations to manage and provide timely and accurate data and information for a variety of reports, metrics and tracking.
- Collaborate with training and development to identify, develop, execute and evaluate the training services, programs and initiatives. For example, Performance Management, New hire Orientation.
Hiring pay range: $27.80 - 33.65
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
- Working knowledge of HR principles and practices.
- General knowledge and understanding of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Excellent organizational, customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Strong attention to detail, research and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to research, investigate matters and organize data or facts in a coherent manner.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Sound judgment in decision-making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work successfully with all levels within the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- At least 1 year of experience working within a Collective Bargaining environment preferred
