Job Title- Mechanical Stress Analysis Engineer (Cell FEA Analysis)
Pay - up to $75-$80 DOE
Location - Berkeley, CA
Contract- 4 weeks +

The Analysis Engineer Will Work Towards These Objectives
- Define load cases for 3D cell assembly and component models to meet the engineering requirements
- Complete ANSYS FEA analysis of CAD assembles, including thermal expansion and dynamic vibrations, to verify performance of engineering concept designs.
-  Create documentation materials of the final results.
-  Individuals assigned to each of the objectives will work at the direction of the Cell design engineer to advance the Cell component and assembly designs. The individual will work in close collaboration to define and run FEA analyses of the Cell. They will be expected to provide a detailed readout on the results of the analysis and provide recommendations for ways in which the design could be improved.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient with 3D finite element analysis, with experience using ANSYS.
- Access to an ANSYS license for performing the work.
- Basic understanding of mechanical behavior of materials and structural analysis principles.
- Exposure to SolidWorks CAD software and basic ability to manipulate and defeature models for analysis.
-  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using FEA software for modeling and analysis.
- Basic knowledge of material properties and mechanics.
-  Understanding of simulation best practices and validation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting findings.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of engineering.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
