Description
We are seeking a person who is active, creative, patient, high-energy and willing to learn Spelling to Communicate.
Micah is a 31-year-old male who needs physical activity every day. He likes to hike and swim. He also likes trampolines, bowling, the beach, and exploring new places. He enjoys crafts such as painting and making clay projects. He enjoys cooking and shopping for his lunches, He enjoys berry, apple, and peach picking, and then creating muffins and desserts for his family. Micah’s regulation benefits from 2 hours of physical movement daily, without it he easily becomes dysregulated.
Schedule-TBD-16-30 hours a week.
Start date- January 2026
Pay: $21/hr. plus mileage reimbursement

Requirements
- Access to reliable transportation and adequate auto insurance
- Prior experience working for individuals with developmental disabilities (Preferred)
- Ability to work together with client to complete organizational tasks
- Ability to carry out individual service goals and communication goals
- Assistance with transportation if needed to Dr. appointments and errands
- Household organization and cleaning
- Documentation of services
- Consistent contact with Case Manager in re: to program activities
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Moore Center’s values
- Comply with all state, agency and department policies and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Assist individuals in community, vocational, and residential settings
- Provide personal care and behavioral support, including but not limited to physical assistance
- Maintain professional demeanor in emotionally charged situations
- Demonstrate flexibility with changes in job, schedule and duties
