The ASC Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Surgery Center billing operations by ensuring accurate and timely data entry, insurance verification, patient account follow-up, and administrative support. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and internal teams. The ASC Coordinator contributes directly to the efficiency and accuracy of the revenue cycle process.
This is a full-time position working M-F between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:30 pm and will be based out of our Corporate Office in Bloomington, MN.

Essential Functions
Data Entry & Charge Capture
- Accurately enter surgical charge data from Excel spreadsheets into the Practice Management System.
- Ensure completeness and correctness of billing information to support timely claim submission.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Verify patient insurance coverage prior to scheduled procedures.
- Confirm eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements with payers.
- Communicate coverage details to internal teams and escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and provide clear explanations of charges.
- Generate and send patient statements; escalate accounts to collections when appropriate.
- Maintain professionalism and empathy in all patient interactions.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail related to billing and patient accounts.
- Assist with general office tasks to support the ASC Billing Department’s daily operations.
- Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in adapting to changing departmental needs.
- Actively contribute to a team-oriented environment by fostering positive, solution-focused communication.
- Collaborate with Revo Health colleagues to ensure seamless billing workflows and patient experience.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the ASC Billing Supervisor.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent. Medical technology helpful.
- Experience with Excel application – beginner to moderate skill level

Ability to:

- Work in the clinic, office, or surgery center during business hours
- Travel independently throughout the clinic, office, or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping, or sitting for long periods may be required.
