Essential Functions
- Generate new business and monetize the Marketplace to hit budget goals.
- Ability to master our processes, products, and value proposition.
- Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects and clients.
- Develop a specific marketing plan (consistent with overall business unit plan) to grow existing territory.
- Maintain and grow existing clients in the territory, including regular phone contact, periodic in-person meetings, and host meetings at CRL.
- Help set up new clients and play a key role in their implementation. Stay in close contact with them throughout the process to clear obstacles, meet milestones, and secure the expected business.
- Collaborate with the Customer Support team to address customer support and system needs.
- Work with the FormFox manager to perform site matches for new business and existing clients.
- Work with the FormFox manager on recruiting new clinics in support of Marketplace opportunities and clients to grow our MP presence where there is a market need.
- Work with the Integration team to introduce them to new Marketplace API projects.
- Oversee additional projects as assigned.
- Prepare for and attend industry meetings.
- Manage travel budget for territory.
- Determine training needs by traveling with sales representatives, observing sales encounters, and conferring with sales manager.
- Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available, and integrating support with routine job functions.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Exhibit and promote CRL culture and values.
- Present a highly professional image on behalf of CRL to clients and prospects.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
- Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
