Key Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate drywall, framing, demo, finishing, and ACT estimates.
• Perform site visits for remodel projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop competitive bid proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist management on currently awarded projects from pre-construction through close-out. Support project manager.
• Process, submit, and track change orders to maintain project timelines and profitability.
• Coordinate with superintendents and field crews to ensure project execution aligns with expectations.
• Take initiative to solve problems and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Embrace increasing levels of responsibility with potential for advancement into senior leadership.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating.
• Strong understanding of drywall, framing, finishing systems, and ACT assemblies.
• Proficiency in estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Dependable and self-motivated with a career-driven mindset.
• Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, coworkers, and contractors.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
