About the Role:

We are seeking an Operations Manager for our customer service department. 


This position is responsible for overseeing the health and performance results of our delivery operations teams. This includes maintaining high levels of customer service, ensuring delivery service level expectations are consistently met, and actively contributing to collaborative efforts that drive solutions to operational challenges. A key responsibility of this role is managing a team of supervisors, each of whom leads frontline teams. The Operations Manager provides strategic direction, coaching, and support to these supervisors and team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing:

Delivery Operations Performance  

  • Achieve annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily delivery operations metrics and KPIs.

Strategic Leadership & Work Structuring 

  • Translate strategic direction and goals from the director into actionable plans for the Operations team. 
  • Collaborate with fellow managers to prioritize, align, and configure the system of people and processes. 
  • Structure work, assign tasks, allocate resources, and ensure the successful execution of operational goals. 
  • Own the results of the Operations team and drive accountability for outcomes. 
  • Develop and empower supervisors and team members to achieve performance targets through coaching, training, and recognition. 
  • Foster a proactive, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. 

Performance Monitoring & Accountability 

  • Track individual and team performance against daily/weekly targets. 
  • Use dashboards and supervisor spot checks to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Maintain clear checks and balances for all operational processes. 

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration 

  • Collaborate across teams (Verification, Sourcing, Follow-Up, Consumer) to resolve issues and optimize workflows. 
  • Lead process reviews and contribute to operational best practices. 
  • Analyze feedback and operational data to drive improvements in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. 

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Coach and develop team members through targeted training, feedback, and performance reviews. 
  • Design and manage schedules to ensure seamless coverage and service continuity. 
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture. 

Managing In-Office Staff 

  • Oversee daily attendance and punctuality of in-office team members. 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative office culture aligned with company values. 
  • Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and safety standards. 
  • Coordinate workspace logistics including seating, equipment, and supplies. 
  • Support in-office team development through coaching, training, and engagement initiatives. 

Other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position may have up to 10 direct reports, including both salaried and hourly employees



Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel (<5% per year). Advanced notice will be given when foreseeable. 



What You Bring to the Team by Way of Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, or customer experience, with supervisory responsibility. 
  • Automotive, logistics, or transportation experience a plus.
  • Aptitude for acquiring skills in technical troubleshooting, along with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive process adherence, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Basic Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and internet-based tools). 
  • Experience with call center, logistics, or automotive operations a plus. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, along with professionalism and diplomacy with internal and external customers/vendors.
