Role Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities
- Answering community questions regarding HIV statistics and information - Provide basic information about HIV and the importance of getting tested
- Providing resources for those seeking assistance via program databases – provide HIV related services resources available in the community
- Going to events to promote HIV prevention and testing – attend outreach events and help promote HIV prevention and testing
- Providing free HIV testing kits at events and instructions of proper use – Refer people interested in testing to our testing counselors
- Helping efforts with SF annual AIDS Walk (SF AIDS Foundation) – Help with coordination of the SF AIDS Walk
- Promoting La Clinica TRUCHA at community events across Bay Area – promote La Clinica TRUCHA’s HIV services at community events across the Bay Area.
