ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Franchise Development & Site Coordination
- Partner with the Development team to align and confirm priority markets ahead of scheduled Confirmation Days.
- Review prospective sites with the Real Estate team, ensuring alignment with BODYBAR’s brand standards and design criteria.
- Collaborate on the preparation and submission of Letters of Intent (LOIs) for approved sites.
- Assess LOI responses across all markets and ensure qualified opportunities are ready for presentation during Confirmation Day.
- Serve as a key point of contact between franchisees, vendors, and HQ throughout the design and construction process.
- Build strong, positive, and professional relationships with owners through proactive, transparent, and solutions-oriented communication.
- Provide clear guidance to franchisees navigating the BODYBAR design and construction roadmap, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
- Oversee and support franchisees who elect not to use BODYBAR’s approved vendor, engaging with local contractors to maintain brand compliance and timely openings. Serve as the primary point of contact for new franchise owners during the onboarding and presale process.
- Manage and track project timelines from site selection, lease negotiation, design approval through construction and studio opening.
- Collaborate with real estate, design, construction, and onboarding teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and troubleshoot roadblocks to keep projects on track.
- Support updates and refinements to BODYBAR’s Design & Construction Brand Book to ensure standards evolve with the brand.
- Maintain accurate project tracking documentation for HQ and franchisee visibility.
- Oversee relationships with BODYBAR’s approved design and construction vendors and ensure accountability for timelines, deliverables, and quality.
- Collaborate with external partners, including architects, contractors, and real estate representatives, to support brand-compliant execution.
- Provide reporting and feedback on vendor performance to HQ leadership.
- Partner with the Studio Onboarding team to ensure presale and operational readiness aligns with construction progress.
- Ensure studios meet BODYBAR’s standards of functionality, design and member experience before opening.
- Collaborate on, and contribute to, ongoing process improvements to increase efficiency and franchisee satisfaction.
- Participate in “Meet the Team” sessions, franchisee webinars, and training events as needed.
- Support the ongoing development and refinement of BODYBAR’s design, construction, and onboarding processes.
- Complete administrative tasks tied to project documentation, vendor accountability, and system updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, construction administration, or franchise development (with experience in design and construction).
- Familiarity with commercial construction, permitting, and vendor/contractor coordination.
- Experience in franchising, fitness, or multi-unit retail preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management, (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace platforms.
- Must be proactive, positive, and professional in demeanor.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the continental US.
