Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join Graduate by Hilton Iowa City and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.
Job Duties And Responsibilities

- Maintaining dining areas of service according to the brand’s quality and service standards
- Provides ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to hourly staff
- Conducts walk through of dining and storage areas to ensure all areas are clean and organized
- Covering extra shifts as required, in the case of staff shortage, to ensure service standards are maintained
- Ensures all policies and procedures as they relate to quality standards, uniform policy, cash handling, and quality presentation
- Coaching and teaching/training employees on SOP’s and service standards
- Communicate with Food and Beverage Manager as well as Upper Management with any concerning issues.
- Bar Inventory monthly
- Create SOP’s for open and closing checklists for bar cleaning and par levels
- Develop and monitor par levels of all goods associated with the bar.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED, post-high school education preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in customer service role
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Team player
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
