Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Acute Care):

Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Location: White Plains, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time


Join our client’s acute care team in White Plains, NY as a Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive assessments, manage complex medical needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold safety standards and evidence-based practices. Ideal for RNs with acute care experience who are committed to clinical excellence, infection prevention, and ongoing professional development.


Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Acute Care):

  • Direct Patient Care: Provide age-appropriate assessments, interventions, education, and discharge planning tailored to individual needs.
  • Clinical Decision-Making: Use sound judgment to prioritize care, respond to emergencies, and address unit-level concerns effectively.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics, infection control policies, and National Patient Safety Goals.
  • Leadership & Delegation: Supervise support staff, assume charge responsibilities, and engage in ongoing training and quality initiatives.


Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Acute Care):

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Licensure: Current and active New York State RN license is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred, particularly in specialties beyond medical-surgical or step-down units.
  • Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association are required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong assessment, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with a professional, team-oriented mindset and the ability to manage stress effectively in a high-acuity environment.
