Job Summary: The Corporate Sales Manager will work closely with the Vice President of Sales to develop channel strategy, including identifying opportunities with accounts and leading the selling efforts with these customers. Results will be obtained through effective communication and superior follow-up with the client, customer, internal agency and all third-party vendors.

Job Duties: The Corporate Sales Manager’s responsibilities are not limited to but include, managing client relationships and building and developing our clients’ product sales within Kroger. The Corporate Sales Manager will interact with all levels of management and operational levels of these organizations to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with all local management and operation levels of our customers to drive mutual business growth
  • Manage the business relationship with the Category Manager and interface with the Category Director and others at Kroger
  • Establish promotional and sales efforts for growing revenues and increasing market share
  • Identify competitive threats and create promotional packages to overcome competition.
  • Responsible for the implementation of sales strategies
  • Attend Category Reviews with clients, and assist in the preparation of presentation

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Must have strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, ever-evolving environment
  • Ability to tackle complex situations, evaluate alternative courses of action, and provide fact-based solutions/recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience analyzing data used to make effective sales presentations
