Course: Design Studio II

In this course students use the principles of user experience and user interaction to improve client-brand relationships within industry-based projects. Students create client and consumer profiles and develop projects within a highly collaborative environment. Technology requirement: Students are responsible for providing their own laptop that is capable of running the Adobe Creative Cloud.

What You Will Do

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Minimum: Bachelors in Advertising or Bachelors in Graphic Design or Bachelors in Visual Communication or related area.
• Preferred: Masters in Advertising or Masters in Graphic Design or Masters in Visual Communication or related area.
• All instructors must have 3-5 years experience in the industry AND
• Knowledge of advertising theories or design principles and production methods for print and electronic communication vehicles AND
• Knowledge of advertising campaign development or project management and organization.
