The Senior Director collaborates across Commercial Solutions, Finance and Analytics, International Operations, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with our objectives.
Enterprise Strategy Development
- Lead the de sign and continuous refinement of Mayo Clinic’s international strategy, identifying and prioritizing new markets, solution development, partnership structures, and competitive differentiation.
- Use structured frameworks and market intelligence to assess opportunities, risks, and readiness for global expansion.
- Guide strategic decision-making through financial modeling, scenario planning, and impact analysis.
- Develop multi-year roadmaps for global expansion in alignment with Mayo Clinic’s mission, brand, and clinical capabilities.
- Oversee a systematic intelligence function that tracks market trends, geopolitical shifts, regulatory environments, and competitive strategies to uncover unmet needs, demand trends, geopolitical shifts, and health system dynamics.
- Translate data into actionable insights that inform service positioning, patient engagement strategies, and investment decisions.
- Stay abreast of evolving global health policy, competitor moves, and innovation trends that may affect Mayo Clinic’s international positioning.
- Serve as a key thought partner to senior executives, providing strategic guidance grounded in analysis and a global lens.
- Build alignment across functions including Commercial Solutions, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Strategy to ensure coordinated execution of international initiatives.
- Facilitate executive strategy sessions and workshops to shape enterprise direction and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish KPIs to monitor strategic initiative performance and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
- Lead post-implementation evaluations to assess outcomes and optimize approaches.
- Master's degree required, Business, healthcare admin, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or business operations roles, preferably in global or matrixed organizations.
- Proven experience as a Strategy Consultant, preferably with experience in a big consulting agency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies and techniques is needed.
- Ability to travel as needed.
