- Partner with the Senior Director FP&A to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
- Partner with key business unit executive stakeholders, under the oversight of the Senior Director, to produce standard and ad hoc reports related to financial and operational analysis to facilitate management decision making.
- Conduct variance analysis and construct accurate reports for the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators and deviations from forecasts and plans.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy while effectively communicating the differences to forecast and plan.
- Drive meaningful ad hoc analysis that facilitates business growth and improves profitability, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain new reporting templates and perform ad hoc analysis as required, utilizing advanced Excel and Essbase skills to provide actionable insights.
- Perform Account and Hyperion Essbase structure maintenance to ensure data integrity and streamline financial reporting processes.
- Utilize expert-level PC skills in Excel and Essbase, along with proficient skills in PowerPoint and Word, to create visually appealing and impactful presentations and reports.
- Prepare financial reports and analyses related to procurement activities, ensuring accuracy and transparency in compliance with established guidelines.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate financial data related to procurement activities, leveraging insights to improve procurement processes and decision-making.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years related experience required 2-4 years as an auditor with a public accounting firm and remainder in an accounting capacity within a manufacturing company is strongly desired
- Previous management/supervisory experience is a plus Strong systems skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion or AS400 is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Results and deadline oriented, strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to identify process improvements, ability and desire to take action
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Leadership Skills and the ability and desire to drive change Six Sigma Black or Green Belt is a plus
- 4-year Undergraduate Degree Required CPA strongly desired MBA is a plus
