Salary: $68,640
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM
Essential Job Responsibilities
Operations:
- Supervise daily warehouse floor operations to ensure productivity goals and service standards are consistently met.
- Issues and manages work assignments
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to warehouse associates to promote safety, teamwork, efficiency, and accountability.
- Conduct routine site inspections and complete checklists/audits to verify compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitor workflow and assign tasks to staff to optimize labor resources and maintain efficiency.
- Observe employee performance and provide immediate feedback, including verbal counseling, when necessary, to address performance or behavioral issues.
- Assist with enforcing company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
- Support safety initiatives, including conducting toolbox talks, reporting hazards, and assisting in incident investigations.
- Track and maintain productivity metrics, reporting concerns or improvement opportunities to warehouse leadership.
- Partner with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in training and developing team members to build skill sets and improve overall performance.
- Serve as a role model by maintaining professionalism, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring adherence to core values.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in warehouse operations, including process changes, cost control, and efficiency initiatives.
- Audits inbound and outbound loads.
- Reports any damaged product or any discrepancies on the product.
- Drives positive employee relations and ensures effective communication with employees on expectations, opportunities, and ways in which they may become more effective in their work.
- Assists in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
- Assists in completing and presenting performance evaluations.
- Works collaboratively with Human Resources on company policies, procedures, employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and other key personnel matters.
- Completes necessary training and Train the Trainer certification for all PIT and warehouse equipment.
- Conduct warehouse equipment training for all new employees and all refresher requirements
- Participate in the maintenance of the PIT equipment monitoring system.
- Exhibits safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
Inventory:
- Research and works to resolve issues with damaged, misplaced, or missing products.
- Uses WMS/ERP and Excel to sort through cycle count data.
- Analyzes inventory transactions and material flow and identifies causes of inventory inaccuracies.
- Maintains and updates inventory records within designated time frames.
- Accurately reports nonconforming loads/materials as part of the internal corrective action report process.
- Conducts research to locate products with the system, as necessary.
- Assists operations teams with discrepancies encountered during the shipping and receiving process; communicating discrepancies found to supervisors.
- Investigates all inventory errors and ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies.
- Prints and distributes put away reports to cycle counters.
- Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel.
- Adheres to all company quality and customer service standards.
- Completes all required paperwork in a legible and timely manner.
- Reads, understands, uses, and follows standard operating procedures.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly Warehouse.
- Assists in maintaining the security of the Warehouse.
- Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Follows internal controls and company policies.
- Contributes to the success of the company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years previous supervisory/leadership experience.
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
- Ability to communicate and work well with people of all levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to become proficient in the use of SAP/WMS systems.
- Must be able to work on warehouse floor 8-10 hours a day or more.
- Experience with Microsoft office software.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years eCommerce experience in a forward pick and replenishment environment.
- Willing to work any shift, based on business necessity.
- Exposure to weather and temperatures range from cold to hot.
- Noise level can be moderate to high throughout the facility.
- Uses a computer keyboard/mouse and views monitor for extended periods.
