Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, Docketing Paralegal to join our team in a hybrid position based in our Calabasas office. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate filing of legal documents, managing case-related deadlines, and ensuring that all filings are properly documented and organized within our case management system. Your day-to-day tasks will include calendaring court dates, tracking motion dates, and monitoring case documents for accuracy. You will also be responsible for preparing legal correspondence and maintaining a smooth flow of case information. A keen eye for detail, organizational excellence, and experience with California civil procedures are key to success in this role as you assist in representing victims of sexual abuse.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with civil calendaring programs and managing legal deadlines, specifically tracking trial and motion dates
- 5+ years of experience in docketing or legal records management
- Proficient knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure
- Experience assembling, filing, and managing legal documents in a case management software system
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and legal case management software
- Ability to interact with court clerks and other legal professionals when necessary
