Rehab Pre-Certification Specialist

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 by founder Dr. Keith Schroeder, Orthopedic Surgeon. His philosophy which remains today, is to treat patients as you would want to be treated. It all begins with listening to our patients and taking the time to perform a thorough evaluation in order to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists Physicians have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients bone, joint, and muscles injuries and conditions.
We are searching for a goal-oriented individual with insurance and pre-certification knowledge in the Rehab space that will be working with a team to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided. Duties may include but are not limited to: Verifying coverage and benefits, pre-certifying PT and OT services in the orthopedic setting. Will cross train on ancillary services as needed for surgical procedures, Durable Medical Equipment, WC/MV accounts, and Rehabilitation services.
Coding experience is a PLUS
Previous Surgical Pre-Cert is a PLUS
This is a Full Time position (40 hours per week) based out of our Schaumburg location.
Shift available: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday
The option to work in a hybrid capactity will be discussed once you have completed the 90-day probationary period.
