Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Salary: Competitive salary based on education and/or experience plus $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Days: Monday through Friday; some weekends

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; some evenings

Position

Our Blood Institute is looking for a Communications Coordinator II in Oklahoma City who will perform all responsibilities of a Communication Coordinator I while adding responsibility for scheduling communication on social media platforms, coordinating media buy materials, and assisting in the execution of media buys. This role also supports more complex projects and provides mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in communication, marketing, or social media management.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools and platforms.
  • Basic understanding of media buying and coordinating advertising materials.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of a Communication Coordinator I, including:
    • Scheduling outbound communication via email, text, push notifications, postcards, and cloud calls.
    • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of outbound communication campaigns.
  • Schedule outbound communication on social media channels including YouTube, Meta, and others.
  • Coordinate the development of materials for media buys, working closely with creative and marketing teams.
  • Assist with executing media buys, analyzing their effectiveness, and suggesting improvements.
  • Help manage complex communication projects and initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Communication Coordinator I team members.
