We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Resident Care Coordinator. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Resident Care Coordinator. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.
Responsibilities--Resident Care Coordinator
- Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
- Providing resident care when there are staffing needs, including on-call rotation
- Completing the daily shift report and communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
- Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
- Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
- Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation and family communication
- Acting as the lead supervisor in the Director’s absence

- Required: current med tech and CPR certification as required by the state
- Prefer: at least 1 year of experience as a med tech
- Prefer: previous experience supervising direct care staff, preferably in a senior living environment
