If so, the Mental Health Therapist position with our Adolescent Day Treatment Program would be a good fit for you. Our team serves clients ages 11 to 18 and their families through an equity lens and strives for diversity in our staffing. We provide supervision for licensure and an opportunity to be involved in program development.
The Mental Health Therapist works with a multidisciplinary team to provide treatment services for families, children, and adolescents ages 11 to 18 in a milieu setting.
Location: This position is based at LifeWorks NW's Tigard site.
Pay/Benefits: $63,473 starting annual salary with full comprehensive benefits.

The Mental Health Therapist works with a multidisciplinary team to provide treatment services for families, children, and adolescents ages 11 to 18 in a milieu setting.
Location: This position is based at LifeWorks NW's Tigard site.

Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for client evaluations including the initial intake interview, formulating a diagnosis, and identifying appropriate treatment services.
- Collaborates with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to support clients with identified needs.
- Develops therapeutic treatment plans based on clients' interests, abilities, strengths and needs.
- Conducts individual, family and group therapy sessions based on current evidenced based practices e.g., collaborative problem solving, cognitive behavioral interventions, and solution focused therapy.
- Uses outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
- Maintains certification in selected de-escalation programs that include protocols for restraints.
- This position requires a valid and active QMHP credential certification through MHACBO or a valid and active status (licensed or registered intern) with an approved Oregon licensing board.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a mental health related field
- May require ability to drive a LifeWorks NW vehicle and verification of safe driving record from DMV.
