Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Embark Behavioral Health is hiring an Admissions Coordinator to manage the intake process for families pursuing residential treatment for their teenagers. In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for caregivers during a critical moment in their journey, helping them navigate options and take the next step toward care. You’ll coordinate with internal teams, manage high call volumes, and ensure admissions are completed accurately and on time. Your work directly influences access to treatment, making a measurable difference in the lives of youth and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Educate families about Embark’s services, assess student fit, present cases to the clinical team, and advocate for both the student and their family throughout the admissions process within a fast-paced environment
  • Guide families through financials, insurance, documentation, and program logistics to ensure a smooth admissions experience
  • Plan and coordinate admissions in collaboration with the Admissions Director and program ADC, maintaining awareness of bed availability and census needs
  • Serve as a communication bridge between clinical, UR, and leadership teams, sharing updates, trends, and strategic insights
  • Document all calls, emails, and activities with accuracy and timeliness
  • Organize and lead family and referral partner tours in partnership with the DCP
  • Provide appropriate resources and referrals to families who are not a fit for Embark programs


Qualifications

  • Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings; bachelors degree preferred
  • Sales or marketing experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
  • Highly organized and efficient; able to manage high call volumes
  • Personable, empathetic, and professional in working with families, DCPs, and referral partners
  • Able to navigate crisis situations with calm and clarity
  • Familiarity with DSM-V and behavioral health terminology preferred
