The Senior Producer is responsible for overseeing the production for their assigned series, under the direction of their Executive Producer. This includes managing the production team which consists of Producers, Production Coordinators, Associate Producers, Video Editors and other contracted staff. They ensure that all projects meet necessary timeline and budget requirements and help the production team respond to issues that may impact deliverables. They manage direct reports, which includes coaching and mentoring staff. Additionally they work alongside an Editorial Director who oversees the editorial aspects of their assigned series.

Pay: $74,929- $88,152

What you'll do:
- Hires, trains, and mentors and oversees development of producers and other Production staff as needed to uphold Complexly’s standards.
- Hires, onboards and oversees Freelancers as needed to support Production needs across assigned series.
- Leads budget management on their assigned projects under the direction of the Executive Producer
- Develops and refines production workflows to optimize efficiency across the team and meet quality standards.
- Reviews video cuts to ensure they meet brand safety guidelines and minimum quality standard requirements.
- Leads or oversees work on project schedules and production calendar, ensuring smooth collaboration and handoff with the editorial team, design team and external partners as needed
- Supports or leads communication with external partners and/or vendors about the status of partnered projects
- Guides strategic work in support of video performance goals, educational goals, partnership requirements and other project-specific growth goals for assigned series.
- Oversees host recruitment projects and high level talent management tasks across the channel.
- Collaborates closely with the Design Team, especially the Art Director, to ensure brand standards are met & workflows are efficient
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and procurement of production gear necessary for on-site filming, as well as enforcement of standard operating procedures for all production related processes.
- Acts as de facto post-production supervisor for the Crash Course team, including: establishing and refining post-production workflows and data management.
- Provides high-level guidance and approval for filming standards, including set design, filming specs, audio recording and lighting considerations to meet required standards
- Other duties as assigned
We want to hear from you if you have:
- 5 years previous production experience, including at least 1 year as a full producer required
- Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Working knowledge of rights clearances and copyright required
- Previous experience with Air Table is a plus
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
