Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support ongoing analytics, reporting, and data integration efforts across multiple databases
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects to translate business requirements into scalable and well-structured data models
- Validate and analyze data using SQL to ensure model accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with organizational standards
- Document data structures, relationships, and metadata using modeling tools such as ERwin, PowerDesigner, or Visio to support knowledge sharing and governance efforts
- 1–3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or data modeling (academic or professional)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts (conceptual, logical, and physical models)
- Familiarity with data modeling tools such as ERwin, PowerDesigner, or Visio
- Working knowledge of SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis
- Exposure to relational database systems (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Interest in learning about dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/data integration concepts
- Willingness to perform data modeling and documentation work for 70–80% of the role
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and willingness to learn from senior data architects and engineers
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, Athena, or Snowflake)
- Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management concepts
- Experience working with reporting tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Basic understanding of telecommunications or billing systems (preferred, not required)
