About The Internship

At the forefront of patient-focused research, the BCI Clinical team uncovers the scientific insights that make tomorrow’s brain–computer interfaces possible. Our neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians work side by side with research and engineering partners to tackle the most pressing challenges in BCI. We champion rigorous experimental design, thoughtful inquiry, and a collaborative spirit.

Technical Skills

  • Basic neuroscience or biomedical engineering knowledge
  • Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis (e.g., ANOVA, regression)
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and biosignal recording (EEG, ECoG, etc.)
  • Proficiency in scientific computing tools (Python, MATLAB, R)

Analytical Abilities

  • Strong critical thinking and hypothesis-driven reasoning
  • Ability to design and document reproducible experiments
  • Statistical literacy for interpreting clinical or behavioral data

Personal Qualities

  • Attention to detail and patient-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication for cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Adaptability when working in regulated clinical environments
