Job Skills / Requirements

TriCorps Security is hiring professional and motivated Armed Level III Security Officers to join our team in Denton, Texas. This is a part-time position (8–16 hours per week, weekends only). Applicants must hold a valid Texas PSB Level III License (Armed Security Officer) and demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment.

As a TriCorps officer, you will be responsible for maintaining strict access control at the main gate, monitoring security systems, and protecting personnel and property through active surveillance and response. This position requires attention to detail, technical competence, and the ability to perform effectively in both routine and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the main gate, ensuring 100 percent accountability of all access points and authorized personnel.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect irregular activity.
• Patrol property to inspect buildings, equipment, and overall site security.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control and daily operations.
• Respond to and investigate security breaches, incidents, and alarms.
• Assist with testing and implementation of emergency procedures.
• Report policy violations or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Support HR and administrative functions, including acting as a facility telephone operator when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support site safety and operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas PSB Level III License (Armed Security Officer) (required)
• Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of prior security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk up to 4 miles during an 8-hour shift.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office applications.
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.

• Part-time: 8–16 hours per week, weekends only.
