Riggins Company, located in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Strategic Accounts Manager to drive business growth in the DOD/Navy equipment manufacturing sector. This role offers the unique opportunity to build lasting client relationships while contributing to critical defense projects. This position offers varietyâfrom strategic planning to client site visits, networking events, and proposal development.
You'll work in a collaborative environment where your success directly impacts company growth. While based in our office, this role involves regular travel to client sites and industry events. Role Accountabilities
Build & Expand: Identify and develop new client relationships in the defense sector, with a goal of adding 4+ new
clients and $4M in annual gross sales.
Manage & Grow: Nurture existing accounts and expand opportunities within current client organizations, driving
an additional $4M in annual growth.
Deliver Excellence: Oversee proposal development and collaborate with our Estimating and Engineering teams to
create winning bids that meet client needs and company profitability goals.

Required
- 5+ years in DOD/Navy equipment manufacturing
- 2+ years in sales and relationship management
- High school diploma (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and web research
- Proven problem-solving track record
- Technical experience with Mil-Spec standards
- Business development and account management experience
