The Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Associate supports the daily accounting operations for one or more dealership locations. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments to ensure smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer payments, deposits, and account postings
- Assist with general ledger entries and month-end closing procedures
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized, up-to-date records and documentation
- Work collaboratively within the accounting team to improve processes and ensure accuracy
- Dealership accounting experience required (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, or similar DMS preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles
- Competitive hourly rate: $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience
