Position Overview

The Supply Chain Administrator supports daily production and office operations by managing purchasing, receiving,

inventory control and work/sales order accuracy. This position also assists with repair estimating, customer parts

sourcing, and payment processing, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, efficient material flow, and

accurate financial and inventory records.

Requirements

  • Create and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of materials and components.
  • Verify and post all receipts, invoices, and customer deposits in coordination with accounting.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular reconciliation and physical counts.
  • Identify and correct data or formula discrepancies to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Open, update, and close Work Orders (WO) and Sales Orders (SO) to reflect current production activity.
  • Assist with repair estimates and customer parts sourcing to support service operations.
  • Collaborate with production to forecast material needs and support efficient scheduling.
  • Communicate clearly across departments and provide status updates to management.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline material and order flow.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or production coordination within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel (formulas, data validation).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining data and documentation.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills across departments.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, lead times, and material flow.
  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred — or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low.
