Data Engineer

This is a Full-Time Hybrid-Remote position in Jackson, MS supporting TANF. Full employee benefits, PTO, and paid holidays are inclusive to this position.

Salary: $95K/YR (Firm)

Contract Term: 11/10/2025- 11/10/2026 (With possible extensions)

Requirements: ship or Work Status Authorization; Advanced professional experience with Databricks, SQL, Data Analytics, data modeling, data integration, and ETL

Project Description

DDI for SNAP / TANF / Child Care / Child Support

Required Skills:

• Databricks: Advanced hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• SQL: Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and complex queries.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze data requirements and design solutions.
• Communication: Excellent ability to communicate technical requirements and collaborate effectively with both client stakeholders and the USI-based product team.
  
  

Preferred Skills

Child Support Enforcement (CSE) domain experience

Responsibilities

Support data modeling, ETL, and reporting for the Child Support program

• ETL pipeline code using Databricks
• Data integration and quality framework
• Technical design documentation
