What You'll Do

• Create detailed shop drawings and submittal packages using company CAD standards and templates.
• Maintain and update fabrication drawing packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on estimated and field-verified conditions.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings, RFIs, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Review and implement changes to project scope, supplemental instructions, and revisions as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to coordinate drawing and fabrication release timelines.
• Assist team members and leadership with workload balancing and coordination.
• Identify and resolve drawing or coordination issues proactively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of detailing practices and standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and tools related to detailing.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of construction knowledge and terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, or related field, or high school diploma/GED with formal drafting/design training.
• CNC programming or fabrication experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and BIM software such as Revit or Navisworks (preferred).
• Experience using HiCAD (preferred).
• Prior experience with architectural metal or panel system detailing (preferred).
