Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong mathematical skills required, with the ability to perform calculations and solve complex problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to maintain composure and clarity when handling challenging or high-stress interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills, fostering a positive experience for both employees and customers alike.
- Exhibit a strong desire to learn new technologies and integrate them into daily operations to improve service and efficiency.
- Highly motivated and driven by the goal of meeting and exceeding company objectives, with a strong understanding of the company’s equipment and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Prospect new accounts to grow Stowers’ rental market share.
- Prepare accurate, competitive rental quotes using Salesforce/CRM.
- Coordinate equipment delivery and logistics with operations via DBS.
- Monitor fleet availability and utilization to optimize efficiency and profitability (DBS/iStowers).
- Collaborate with sales, service, and product support to ensure a seamless rental experience.
- Partner with the used equipment and service teams to monitor fleet maintenance and repairs in order to maximize profitability.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Caterpillar equipment to provide expert recommendations.
- Track rental performance metrics and support demand and revenue forecasting.
- Ensure accurate processing of rental transactions, documentation, and billing (DBS/Unit 4).
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Salesforce and DBS experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with heavy equipment operation, valuation, rental or sales is not required but is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to shared goals and fostering positive relationships.
- Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening test.
