Primary responsibilities are centered on strategic planning of all resident programs within the Community. This involves big picture thinking backed by a focus on the tactical aspect of planning events and activities such as recreational, social, cultural, educational and entertainment.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage the Festival Learning Program, including securing instructors, coordinating with Communications on marketing, setting up classes in the POS system, and providing onsite assistance.
- Oversee the Wellness Program, coordinating health screenings, blood drives, vaccination and flu shot clinics, and wellness seminars.
- Collaborate with the City of Buckeye Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator to bring city services and educational opportunities to residents (e.g., blood pressure checks, library programs, parks and recreation, health initiatives).
- Support the Caring Neighbors Organization, attending monthly meetings and assisting with their initiatives as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate New Resident Orientation sessions to welcome and educate new homeowners.
- Attend Board, club, and committee meetings as required.
- Assess program success through surveys, focus groups, and resident feedback.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, instructors, and partners through prompt responses, problem resolution, and positive communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness.
- Ability to design, coordinate, and implement programs that foster engagement and community pride.
- Effective and dynamic public speaking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High energy, creativity, and enthusiasm with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate and collaborate with residents, volunteers, and vendors.
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage interruptions, and maintain a cheerful, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong reasoning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common software; experience with point-of-sale or registration systems preferred.
- Position involves sitting, standing, and movement throughout the day.
- Utilizing a computer in an office setting.
- Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Physically able to work indoors or outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift, carry and manage equipment and supplies.
- Use a ladder and participate in and train others in the rules of activities.
