Location : Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Responsibilities
Salary Range : $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year, based on experience (Non-Exempt)

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair analytical instruments and measuring equipment
- Test data management and analysis.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct and oversee chemical analyses including moisture, fat, acidity, viscosity, pH, salt, protein, color, and other quality indicator tests to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards.
- Perform microbiological analyses to detect and monitor bacterial and fungal activity, including routine testing for pathogens such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Carry out physical and mechanical evaluations such as compression, tensile, and box strength testing to validate packaging integrity and material performance.
-  Supervise analytical staff, review and approve Certificates of Analysis and lab request forms, and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency in the laboratory. 
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Associate degree or higher in Chemistry or Food Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of chemical and microbiological testing methods
- Familiarity with general laboratory safety practices
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately
