                            BMW of Bridgeport is looking to hire a Business Development and Portfolio Sales Manager to oversee and successfully manage their Business Development and Client Retention.
As a Business Development and Portfolio Sales Manager, you will be Managing the Sales BDC representatives and the Service Drive Sales Client Advisor. responding to clients that email and / or call into the dealership with questions relating to inventory, product features, benefits of the vehicle and pricing. The BDC Manager ensures all inquiries are answered in a timely manner and stays up-to-date on customer communication contact scheduled within our CRM.
The BDC Sales Manager's main focus points are:
Ensure that the BDC team generate appointments through all customer engagement channels and lead providers.
Manage team and personally contribute towards producing as much in-bound and out-bound customer contacts as possible (phone calls, emails, texts, etc) resulting in showroom visits / appointments.
Manage all in-bound customer leads through CRM Management and convert leads into sales at a 20%+ Lead Conversion ratio.
Understand, monitor, motivate and promote a certain level of output from the business development center on daily/weekly basis (phone calls, emails, texts, customer contacts)
Set appointments daily with interested customers so they can meet with a sales team member on a vehicle or model of interest
Communicates effectively, by phone, e-mail, and in person.
Maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system. Experience with Automotive Mastermind an advantage.
Makes outbound prospecting calls inviting prospects to the dealership.
Contacts customers for retention and loyalty opportunities
Contacts all no-show appointments to reschedule
Constantly update and purify customer records in CRM
Create and confirm appointments for new and used vehicles sales customers using phone, email, and internet based chats
Make outbound calls to generate business for the company and follow-up with clients
Able to multi-task and use a multi-line phone system
Accurately report progress and deliver exceptional customer service
Accurately document all customer contacts in a web based client management system
Checks email frequently and responds to all inquiries
Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to the customer
Maintains a professional appearance and reports to work on time
Able to work well within a team environment.

- Follow up with the previous day's, week's, month's leads and promote a culture of follow up with the BDC team and Client Advisors.
- Data mine the existing customer base for new sales opportunities proactively.
-  Work with the BDC team on skills and techniques that deliver a high level client experience
-  Back up the three retail sales managers during busy periods.
